He wasn't even playing CF. I want Lukaku to stay as much as you do, but saying Lukaku is as good, right now, as Cavani is silly.

I can't really chime in to this conversation because my bias in favor of the Kraken will get in the way of any logical argument. All I will say is that I hope he returns to Chelsea, somehow, some way, next season. Hope he kills it in Brazil.

I couldn't have been any more underwhelmed by Cavani's performance in the CL. His dundering is the main reason we got past PSG.
He obviously has a longer history of production because he is much older than Lukaku but if you look at what Lukaku has done in the situations he has been in the last two years I think it'd be hard pressed to argue Cavani would have done any better.
Ultimately, for this discussions sake, it comes down to the fact that the difference between the two is nowhere near enough to justify bringing in Cavani at the cost of moving Hazard.
