Turning the corner on act III?
quote:
In three games with his new team, Agudelo has completely transformed the New England attack. They’ve averaged three goals per game since the former Chivas man arrived, including Sunday’s 5-0 shellacking of the LA Galaxy. Prior to his arrival? The Revs had averaged .6 goals per 90 over 10 games. That’s not an accident.

Want to see him do well in the Gold Cup

Too bad Klinsmann felt Alan Gordon and Chris Wondolowski were more deserving.

I thought I saw more guys would be called in for the GC

He's not on the GC roster? Absurd.

I can't believe he's not on the GC roster. He is going to be such a big part of this team moving forward while Alan Gordon and Wondo will probably not be.

It took Jozy two years to score from the run of play for the nats, and you're still panning me like I said that Alan Gordon is the next Didier Drogba.

pedantically annoyed with the metaphor of him verging upon his third act (aka the finale) as a 20 year old.

It is silly. I'm just glad he got out of Carson.

It was ridiculous then and it's ridiculous now.

I mean, Agudelo is still 20. I'd like to see him actually play well for a season or two before concluding anything about his prospects for the national team. In general, everyone expected far too much of him far too quickly. He needs to play to develop, so the Revs are a perfect place for him.
