That actually makes the most sense but I don't think that what's happening here. McNamara's twitter feed all last night besides the Spurs/Heat game was about his agent's just playing and now because he got a personal response he believes the agent? I think he was swayed by getting a personal response. Most reporter source networks are full of agents, so he may be buying in just to cultivate a source. Either that or he's being naively wowed by an agent replying to him.

Yeah, I'm thinning the more seasoned guys probably got the same response and just took it as peacocking by the agent

Well, there was no grand plan to hype the readership and then report he was withdrawing. That's kind of far-fetched and likely impossible to control.

Additionally, he's reporting

"Per Dario Saric’s Agent: Decision is Made, Saric will Withdraw from Draft"

Which is completely accurate.

If you have an issue with the OP Title, not the title that was reported, take issue there.

Anyone can take the negative stance just because they don't like the guy, and that is well-within their rights. But for him to put a ton of work into a piece just to have it dashed the next day is not the work of something trying to screw with anyone. It's just someone doing work to bring info to the fans so you can debate things like this.

I think it's better to keep the debates on the players and motives of the agents (all valid) and less on the people taking time to do work.

So, he gets this email . . . what should he do with it? Just keep it to himself? Present it unredacted for the world to see? Just go with his interpretation?

What's the right answer? Really.

You could be right, but this statement is certainly more definitive. I think he's pulling out (TWSS).

And here I was, totally coming to peace with the pick and getting pretty excited for it.

So...what now? Len? McCollum? Burke? KCP?
