All I can think about is my poor grandfather, tossing around in the English Channel, getting ready to load up in a Higgins boat around this very time in 1944.

Here is to those who jumped off in that cold water and faced the horror of bullets flying around them like a nest of pissed off hornets, watching their brothers fall around them and still pushed forward motivated only by duty to country and kin.
