No furnace, but that would have been my next question. I've got a torch I could heat with but I'm clueless on what is needed or any details. My oven could hold the 24" blades but it is probably not hot enough.

Torch with a rosebud. Get the cutting edges as hot as you possible can. then dip them in a oil bath.
