SEC Network?

I have real concerns about this SEC network arrangement. Does this mean there will no longer be SEC games on CBS? Will they be showing every game? Will I have to depend on my cable provider to have the network? And if I do,how do I know I will get LSU games? And since we are losing the GeauxZone, does that mean I lose baseball and basketball? And if the way the regionals are being "televised", will we be watching everything on the computer?

unfortunately yes. i'm not sure you will be able to watch every game like you could with geaux zone. I know they are supposed to show a bunch of them but i doubt you see the obscure games like lsu vs Louisiana college. could be wrong though

Geauxzone is going away in name, in that you won't be paying for it and viewing through LSU. But if the school produces the game, as they do now, it will be streamed through the SEC network. Your provider would have to be a carrier of the network for you to view it.

CBS games will be staying.
For baseball, you could be forced to watch more games on-line. Not sure how it will affect basketball games that I would be getting on local network TV.
I am not 100% on any of this though. I'm not sure anyone is at this point(unless they work with the SEC or ESPN)

I too have a lot of concerns about how individual schools will have as much airtime as before. With no more Geaux Zone, Tigervision or Cox we have to rely on the SEC Network...so the game replay will be on at 2:00 AM on Tuesday ?
I think the ADs went along because of the money but who really will control content ?
I mean...the featured on air personality will be
Paul Finebaum ???
I don't think die hard LSU fans are going to like this initially.
For some reason this thing seems a pro Bama gig where the whole conference chipped in to set up what Texas had to do with their own money with the Longhorn network.
If I'm wrong I'll admit it.

CBS will continue to have 15 games and the SEC Championship. When the SEC Network launches n 2014, the only difference LSU fans will see (from a TV perspective) is Tiger Vision will no longer exist....all games will be on CBS, ESPN, ESPN2, ESPNU or the SEC Network. Do you have to depend on your cable provider to have the network? - Yes.
