This is the gist of the LSU/bama schedule since saban's arrival at the capstone.

bama's had the more difficult schedule TWICE. They finished 4th and 5th in the west in those seasons.

The ONLY time LSU/bama had a similar schedule LSU WON the SEC.

The three west titles bama won, LSU had the MORE difficult schedule. In those three years tigers worst finish was third, once. The other two times LSU finished second in the west.

That's the ONE YEAR since saban's at bama that our SEC schedule was even.

Who won the SEC that year?

No argument there but it was 11. Everyone on here keeps saying this has happened for years. Only in 12. Look at 09 and 10 pretty equal. And if tenn has been down so long whom did Lsu play in the seccg the last time they won the bcs.

Tennessee has been 38-38 in the last 6 years and Florida has been 61-19 in the same period.

'07 east schedule

bama - #1 UT, #2 UGA, #6 Vandy
LSU - #3 UF, #4 KY, #5 SC
bama harder

'08 east schedule

bama - #2 UGA, #5 UT, #6 KY
LSU - #1 UF, #2 UGA, #4 SC
LSU harder

'09 east schedule

bama - #3 UT, #4 KY, #5 SC
LSU - #1 UF, #2 UGA, #6 Vandy
LSU harder

'10 east schedule

bama - #1 SC, #2 UF, #4 UT
LSU - #2 UF, #4 UT, #6 Vandy
bama harder

'11 east schedule

bama - #3 UF, #4 Vandy, #6 UT
LSU - #3 UF, #5 KY, #6 UT
EVEN

'12 east schedule

bama - #5 Mizzou, #6 UT
LSU - #2 UF, #3 SC

bama harder '07 and '10. Tide finished fourth and fifth in the west the only time their east schedule was harder.

LSU harder '08, '09 and '12. Tigers finished second twice and only as low as third ONCE with the more difficult schedule.

The only time we had a similar schedule LSU WON the SEC in '11.

'07 was the last time the vols even finished in the top three of the east and that was six seasons ago.

What was 11??

Who was bama's last east regular season opponent to finish the season ranked???

I don't agree that the schedule has been any detriment to us whatsoever.

Really? You don't think LSU has played a more difficult SEC schedule than Bama the last 3 years? There is only one answer. It may not have made a difference in the outcomes, but we will never know. Your argument is that LSU just needs to beat Bama and that solves everything, but LSU also needs to beat UF and USCe (and UGA this year).

I don't think anybody is complaining about the schedule because we all like to watch good football games. People are complaining about the construct of scheduling within the SEC as unequal. If you can't see that, you are being intellectually dishonest. I'm not worried about the schedule, but can see the argument. I don't care who Bama plays until they play LSU. I do hope they lose so LSU will have wiggle room in the west, but let's just hope LSU handles business regardless.

When you have an alum from the school you are coaching making the schedule and running the officiating, why not?

I can see it now, a nine game schedule where Bama gets: Mizzou, KY and Tenn...

LSU and aTm each get: UF, UGA and USCe

Sad part is, Bama would probably still need a mulligan a few of those seasons. With the new "playoff" they are assured this no matter what.

College football is such a joke now. It really is. I'll still enjoy it for what it is, but for now, I'll save my money.

Go kill yourself. Easy to say beat the teams on your schedule when your schedule is rotting shite on an annual basis. Only an incompetent moron makes a statement like this. Lsu is 3-3 in the last 6 legit games vs bama so frick you. Bama continues to benefit from do overs, mulligans, backslidden poll politics, unbalanced schedules and no holding calls. If you can't recognize this as fact then you are just plain dumb. Bama hasnt played a schedule since 99 with 4 or more ranked opponents. lsu has done so 4 times. lsu has played uga and florida 19 times in this span, bama 7. Lsu will play 5 teams in the top 15 this year while bama plays 2. you truly have to be a dumb shite to think this is a fair playing field. Due to these facts and factors, the Mnc is just that, a myth or fake and there will never be a true champ without a deep playoff like fcs has because of all the complete horseshite in college football.

That was beautiful.

Here is my advice:

Save your money. The game (large scale) is rigged. Watch it on TV. It is free.

Nothing is going to change. With Bama "winning", ESPN is happy, and that's all that matters now.

Trying to point you obvious statement to a Bama fan is like trying to explain to an Obamabot the dangers of using the IRS to target citizens. They don't care as long as they are "winning". Cheating? All part of it. Deal with it.

I'm getting downvoted into oblivion on reddit for merely suggesting that having 0 permanent cross division opponents is more balanced than having 1 permanent cross division opponent.
