actually it has everything to do with it

if our poor are bettering their lives at a faster rate than any other poor, then who cares what advances the rich make?

well our poor today are clearly better than the poor of the past. which country's poor are better than our poor? there probably are examples of people at the end of the economic spectrum being better off, but i don't know if those dregs are comparable to our dregs

but it is clear that now is the best time to be poor in an advanced country in the history of the world
