When I use to play shows, before every performance. Now I just change them when they get too worn down. Every few months.

Never understood this. You should give yourself at least 3-4 days after changing strings before performing or youre going to be retuning after every single song

I have 3 acoustics (2 6-strings and a 12-string); I change strings every 4-6 weeks. I play each guitar at least 30 minutes per day. I've been using D'Addario strings for the most part and one thing I've noticed is, when the strings start to sound dull you really notice it. I don't know if this is a good or bad thing, but at least you know when it's time for a new set.

Not really, I always stretch my strings after I tune then tune them again. Never had issues
