Jeeps are fun with manual transmissions but I mainly want one in a road car once I have the cash. This is the main reason why the Cadillac CTSv is so appealing to me (car in my signature that I don't own yet). A 556hp sedan with a 6 speed manual. On the track, a manual is more fun and more involving. For an all-encompasing driving experience, you can't beat a manual. It sucks that almost all other sports car makers are going with boring autos.
That being said, a sports car manual is much more fun than a manual on a truck. But that is your call to make.
