I know you are talking about purchase but it shows that 17+ can possess and that under 17 can with written permission. People are ignorant of the laws a lot of time, especially when it is their business to know

I looked into opening one last year because there is a real market for one. But, it'd take upwards of $3mm for a decent one and damn near a year of full time work getting permits before you could even start building. That's 2 years with no income. I'd still love to do it if the right investor came along.
