Hopedale/Shell Beach fishing?

Any reports from this area?
I'm heading down to the Hopedale/shell beach area tomorrow for the first time and loking for any advice of where to fish. Also how is Campos Marina? Easy to get in and out of? Do they usually have a good selection of bait? Would I be better of going a little further down to Brenton Sound Marina? Just trying to get an idea of what I am in for in the morning. TIA

We fished yesterday with Capt. Charlie Thomason. Went out into Breton Sound to a rig? 35 miles!! Limited out on small to medium trout. Tons of 11.95" trout. Got into bull reds. Lot of fun but can' t keep em. 12 of us in three boats, 300 trout. I'm happy. Tip: our guide had gone out of Delacroix and limited on bigger trout and reds inside. Tuesday. Not sure where. I have fished out of Blackies, not bad. Breton marina had plenty of smallish shrimp. We caught most on bottom rig with live shrimp and two weights about 18" above the hook.throw out and hold on! Even the little uns knocked the crap out of it! One boat limited at 8:40. We took a little longer but scrwed with the big reds awhile. Lots of fun.

I will be fishing in the ft. Beauregard tourny down there this weekend. There will be heavier than usual traffic at both marinas.
