I don't know. I've had sinus infections that made me feel like I had a Hummer sitting on my face.

Sinus infections are no fun, this is true. I had one that took two trips to the doctor and caused me to miss work for an entire week.
And there well could be something in the SoCal climate (not present in the DFW climate) that could be triggering an allergy.
Either or both could have caused his slow start to the season.
Unfortunately Josh has a history of excuse making (quitting dip, blue eyes, laying off energy drinks) and like the boy who cried wolf, no one believes him any more.
