I guess I don't care enough about the PR side to worry.

The baseball side is what's important. All they have to do is win games and all these fans bitching and moaning and complaining right now will change their tune and will be sitting right back in MMP with everyone else.

That's a fair stance I guess. But you have to walk a fine line with that stance. If you alienate your fan base too much, they won't come back. Fans like those of us in this thread will put up with a lot before we throw our hands up. But I think we can both agree, the common fan is important to the Astros. The ones who don't follow the team as in depth as us. They see the team moving to the AL, low payroll, worst record in the league, putting up a money grab in left field, letting Deshaies walk, giving Dierk the middle finger and dumping a 23 year charity event and the disaster that is CSN Houston. Thus far, Crane's tenure has been a PR nightmare. The team needs the common fan to come out and buy a ticket. With seemingly countless PR blunders, a lot of people are gonna say screw it and not want to follow a team that shits on the community, its legends, employees and the field. As more comes out, it seems that Postolos wasn't a good fit in his role. Many people seemed to have a beef with him and from what I gather he was a total a-hole and got himself fired.

Any change that the Astros would pick up the Skeeters as an affiliate? Great facilities and close to Houston.
