If they anticipate Davis getting a little bigger, you could close games- last 4 minutes or so with Anderson/Davis. If teams want to hack Jordan early, ill take being in the bonus.
The big issue is what you raised in the Burke/Bledsoe thread- taking on Jordan and then giving Bledsoe a big extension is reckless.

When asked what the key has been for taking DeAndre Jordan out of his game in Memphis, Lionel Hollins responded, "What is his game?"

Yes, Jordan is immature and overpaid. But if you don't trust Gordon (not saying that I don't), this is a reasonable deal. It's the Bledsoe extension that would worry me more.
Here is Jordan/Chandler comparison through 5 years

They are, by the numbers, the same player (or Jordan with a slight edge) outside of Jordan's woeful FT%. Not saying Jordan ever comes close to that level, but big men take time. No one was anticipating Chandler to become who he is.
I agree with those that said he isn't a Monty/Dell player. But I'd trust this Pelicans organization to get more out of him than LAC and VDN have. If it doesn't work out, he's an expiring next year.
