I got 3 years out of my wildgame innovations, it took great pictures and C battery life span was 3-4 months but I took it down and left it off for 6 months and now it seems to have crapped out. Anybody got any reviews of the "blackflash technology" the deer in my photos clearly reacted to the flash?

I've got a lot of activity on my place and itching to see them, damn deer flies are so thick I want no part of sitting out there

I have had a few Primos Truthcam 35 for a couple of seasons and they have worked great.

To the blackflash question...I got a Bushnell Blackout last year, it works great as far as pictures, no visible lights, etc. My only complaint is that it takes AA batteries and they dont seem to last. I do not know if the "blackout" has any real advantage over the IR "red flash" where I hunt. I think a few deer and hogs might have noticed the red IR flash a few times, but not enough to scare away.

This is my 2nd year using one of the WGI "Lights Out"

It takes really good pics and the battery life is good for several thousand pics. It does take 12 AA's, tho.

It seems to be a little better made than they're lower end models and have a viewing screen built into the camera, which is nice.

I changed all of my cams out to black flash. The night pics tend to get a little more motion blur, but ill never use anything other than black flash anymore. I got more repeat pictures of older deer last year than I did the previous 3 years combined. I never get pictures of deer staring at the cams anymore either. People will be amazed at how much white flash and regular IR cameras cause deer to avoid an area if they ever buy a black flash camera.
