Opinion on car deal?

Possibly buying a new car. Here are the details. 2013 Chevy Traverse 1LT. "Hit the road package" and "all star edition" included. Negotiated price so far stands at $33,435 + TTL. Does anyone have experience buying a Traverse have any input on the deal so far?

What's your interest rate? How much money down?

Internet negotiation. 3.64% for 60 months. $8000 down.

How much money do you make? Seems like a pretty hefty car note. But I hate financing cars.

I make a little over 100k a year give or take. Only a year out of school, so I don't have enough saved to pay for it all in cash. That is how I plan on buying my next car. We need a bigger car ASAP that's why we are financing.

You can get the fair purchase price on KBB.com.

I've checked out KBB, edmunds and the like. I think I'm ok on price. Curious to see if anyone else on here had bought a similar vehicle and what they paid. MSRP is roughly 35k.

That's a little high for an interest rate
I bought a new car in Dec and got it for 2.74 for 60 months

We have one kid right now. I have some school debt. Still doing rate shopping, and I do plan on checking with penfed.

MT Ballers buy used cars over the internet and pay cash.

Take the 8k and shop for a clean used Ford escape/ chevy trailblazer ect.. in the 2005-2007 range with less than 100k miles. Then focus on elimination of all your other debts. Don't add anymore debt on something that wil rocket down in value.

Bought my wife a Traverse about a year and a half ago. MSRP was somewhere around $33,000 and we got it for around $26,000. I just bought a GMC Sierra that's MSRP was around $37,000. I paid less than $26,000 for it. The invoice price on the truck was over $34,000. GM has a lot of wiggle room right now. I would try to get them to come off of that price some more. Good luck!
