It's just most of midtown for non-tourists is so blah. Shopping and Times square. If you're there for that, midtown is where it's at
I'd say 80% (conservative) of the good, non steakhouse, restaurants are outside of those areas. Midtown dies on the weekends kind of overall, so I just don't think it's that great of an area to be in when I visit (my dad lives in midtown east so I stay there)
I want to try the Lamb Burger and may make it there...it's like $25 or $30 right?
