**Warning, stolen from Saintsreport**
Nice tidbit about Walker from NOLA.com:
Walker said he plans to play nose tackle for the Saints in the new 3-4 scheme, and he plans to stay right around the same 305-pound playing weight he said he was at last year (although he's listed at 6-3, 294).
Walker said he thinks the adjustment to the new defensive scheme should be smooth for him. He has some familiarity with the alignment since he played a lot of 3-3-5 while at Tulsa.
Walker, however, has a lot of beef in front of him on the depth chart now that the Saints drafted 359-pound Georgia standout John Jenkins to compete for playing time at nose tackle with veteran starter Brodrick Bunkley and second-year pros Akiem Hicks and Walker, among others. Hicks could also see a lot of time at the end position.

Hick will BE a monster on the end. drafting Jenkins will turn our to be the best decision of the draft

Its crazy that I can only see 4 players locked in a position as starters on defence: Jordan DE Lofton ILB Lewis and Greer at 1st and 2nd CB.
Seven positions open for a fight!
Going to be great fun watching all the battles in camp.

Having Walker in at NT on passing downs sounds like a great idea

It almost feels like that first offseason when CSP came in.
It's going to be great watching the safety battle.

it was in an article on NOLA.com so youre good. I think he can a decent NT in passing rushing situations.
SDE.......... NT............. WDE
Smith........ Bunkley......... Jordan
Coleman...... Jenkins........ Hicks
Johnson...... Walker
im kinda confused about where they play Hicks. Smith and Coleman are both SDE and i think that is where Hicks would play, but we have no one behind Jordan.

OK, that's 8 dl. I figure that with going to a 3-4 we need at least 8 LBs, which leaves 9 spots for DBs, assuming that we go 25 on offense and defense and 3 specialists. Maybe we go with 9 backers and 8 dbs because guys like Vaccaro and Jenkins can cover the slot.
Or maybe someone stands out in TC and we go with 9 dl.
