I bet the 84 Cheetah is a well-built gun since it's based on the 92 design.
That being said, I see ZERO purpose in a full-sized, metal-framed 380. There are TONS of other 380s out there that can fit in a pocket and that is the only role I see a 380 filling. Since LCPs, P380s, and BodyGuards are tiny, that is their appeal - they can fit in your pocket. Unfortunately, this heavy and large gun is too big and you can't use it for pocket carry.
If you are a carrying a gun inside your waistband, there is VERY little reason to not get a 9mm. 9mm is THAT much better than 380 and you get the exact same amount of ammo in a comparable 380 magazine since the rounds are the same diameter.
So, if you wish to carry in your pocket, get a different 380. If you wish to carry in your waistband, get a 9mm or a larger bore, like 40 S&W or 45 ACP.
But if you just want it because it's a cool gun, I can respect that.

I would like to carry in my pocket, I think. I don't carry now though so really I don't know which way I would prefer to be honest.
It is a full size .380 which is one of my concerns of how well it would fit in a pocket. I have shot a LCP before and thought it was too small for my hand. I guess I need to look more in to the P380, and P238.
I've always been a little partial towards beretta because I grew up shooting beretta shotguns and pistols my whole life, which is why the cheetah caught my interest.
Thanks for the advice
ETA: Actually think I may end up going with a Sig P290 after further thought, it seems like a 9 that could still fit in a pocket. That Beretta was just on my mind, still may end up getting it one day.

Gotta agree with you. Don't understand the purpose of a full size 380.
