Recommendations for Birthday Dinner Tonight (5/09) in Lafayette

Today is my B-day and I am going to dinner tonight with Family.
I want to try one of the new up and coming places in Laffy. What does the F&D board Recommend??

Social is my pick. Depending on how old the average age of your party of 4, waiting isn't that bad. And it isn't as busy lately as it was when it first opened.
Brick & Spoon is only open 6-2. 2:30 on the weekends. So that's not a go.
Not sure what new Mexican Place there is downtown. La Carretta? If so, I know the BR locations are pretty good. Great Margs.
Pamplona is a good choice downtown for something different.
And I know at the bottom of Bolt is a new Bistro or something. Have seen the food but haven't eaten there.

Social is still my pick for you

ETA: Mazen's is delicious as well

Haven't been to social but I know people who like it a lot. Riverside inn in Broussard is popular. Pamplona is deluxe if you've never been... It's different but I love it

Definitely the worst bathroom ever. That place needs a serious face lift. Thy do have the absolute best cheesecake on the planet though.
