We have the 230 and it gets heavy use. Starts fine after probabaly 5 years

You won't be sorry. I love Sthil, but so did the thug that stole my all Sthil collection of yard equipment.
I was in a bind waiting on the insurance check to come, so I replaced with Echo. A little better on Azz National, and have been just as reliable for residential yard work.
