Well, Vader is pissed at the Emperor, and has been for a few decades now due to the fact that following him led to the death of his wife. Vader was very actively plotting on overthrowing him, but felt he needed Luke since Vader is basically a cripple now and can't take down the Emperor by himself. No one else would help Vader kill the Emperor since the Emperor is incredibly powerful and dangerous, and Vader is probably even more unstable and violent than the Emperor himself. The Emperor is much, much stronger than he is and I would take a guess that he could instantly kill him with his mind.

Honestly, I hope they don't address a single aspect of the prequel trilogy, so once Lucas dies, someone who actually knows what the frick they are doing can go remake them.
