no clue, since we actually use our youth system unlike chelsea and city
You had to jump off this high horse a looong time ago. There was a a little run in the 90s when this was true but Man U are pretty much as bad as everyone else now.
De Gea- nope
Jones- nope
Evra- nope
Rafael- nope
Ferdinand- nope
Valencia- nope
Nani- nope
Anderson- nope
Rooney- nope
RvP- nope
Mexican- nope
Carrick- nope
Kagawa- nope
Smalling- nope
Ash Young- nope
You are basically hanging your hat on Johnny Evans (who sucks), Welbeck (who may be your 4th striker), and two guys who were in the academy 30 years ago. Congrats.
Also, like it or not, any club without money today is basically QPR. Except QPR actually have money which makes their story even more pathetic.
People, those that do, probably like Chelsea more because we don't have nearly as many douches in the team and we haven't had a red nosed cry baby manager notorious for getting preferential treatment for the past 20 years. Outside of John Terry and Ashley Cole for Arsenal fans there is really no good reason to dislike anyone that plays for Chelsea.

Yeah but generating it from your fans/the club's marketability is one thing. Having some jerkoff owner throw money into a bottomless pit of transfer wages is something else.

lulzzzzz
Evans
Giggs
Welbeck
Scholes
Cleverley
Fletcher
all united youth players on this years team. Every team since SAF has taken over has had a huge chunk of players from the united youth system and also selling and loaning players.

Yeah, it's just that most Chelsea fans are unbearable.
We all know why people hate Man U. All the recent success, Fergie Time, it's the most popular club in the world, etc.

Chelsea, £673 million — 12 trophies — 3 Premier League titles (2o05, 2006, 2010), 1 Champions League (2012), 4 FA Cups (2007, 2009, 2010, 2012), 2 League Cups (2005, 2007) and 2 Community Shields (2005, 2009).
Manchester City, £572 million — 3 trophies — 1 Premier League title (2012), 1 FA Cup (2011) and 1 Community Shield (2012).
Liverpool, £414 million — 6 trophies — 1 Champions League (2005), 1 UEFA Super Cup (2005), 1 FA Cup (2006), 2 League Cups (2003, 2012) and 1 Community Shield (2006).
Manchester United, £352 million — 16 trophies — 5 Premier League titles (2003, 2007, 2008, 2009, 2011), 1 Champions League (2008), 1 FA Cup (2004), 3 League Cups (2006, 2009, 2010), 5 Community Shields (2003, 2007, 2008, 2010, 2011) and 1 FIFA Club World Cup (2008).
since 2003. transfer argument is a stupid conversation to have with us man utd fans. we've spent less and won more. nothing to talk about really. now as far as youth academy. now is less than previous years, but still better than most.
