So that translates to, "He doesn't care about his life's work." Gotcha
The dude became a celebrity with lots of money. He got out of hand with how little time he spent on his most important work, but I seriously think he has a handle on it now. It's different than when he first started slacking. The show is the difference.

Let me rephrase, it was not as much a priority to him.
He has so many things going on that it was just one of his many projects. That's the way I see it just from reading his blog for years. I don't know him personally.
The only thing keeping me sane during that time was the "Finish the Book George" blog.
