Charles, I watched your offensive tape. At your size and from what I saw in those couple minutes, I think you should try and get reps at fullback. It's probably your best shot of getting on a college team. I'll let someone else give you the recruit/compliance issue lecture.

Just know that some of the peeps on here are going to be a little over critical when it comes to your film. With thatsaid, you will get some good feedback that you should listen to. Regardless of what they say just keep getting after it and you will find your place even if it isn't LSU.

From watching the tape, you seem very athletic, a lot of the film was you as a pulling guard and you were very quick. I only saw like 3 clips of you in pass protection so I assume its a weakness? You seemed to have too much of a forward lean in pass protection from what I saw. Id say maybe try to work with some coaches outside of McKinley on technique. How big are you and what is your wingspan? I know D1 coaches love long arms in offensive lineman. I would think you would be more suited as a FB or on the DL because you seem very athletic and aggressive.

Try and stay flatter down the line when you pull on those counters big boy. Aim for the inside hip of the defensive end, and try to go through where the centers hand is on the ball and follow the surge of the offensive line this will alow you to be able to block the defender inside out.

Keep working hard, and stay low when run blocking.

Try and be less aggressive when pass blocking, will be hard at first but it will allow you to shield the Qb from your defender.
