Defensive help on NCAA 13

In year 2 of a 1-star dynasty and in the conference championship (FIU vs wazu). Wash state is controlled by a human and has 2 WR's that torched me in our regular season game. My secondary is vulnerable against average passing attacks, but one of these guys is rated in the high 90's. What are some defensive suggestions you have for slowing this attack down? I'm not super experienced on how to control the defense, so I don't really know how to audible into double coverages and stuff. Any helpful explinations would be appreciated.

Yeah I guess I need to learn how to switch up my coverages. All I know is how to go into press or soft coverage.
I never needed to go any further into it to stop somebody. Guess I will have to figure it out.

Honestly if the guy is STRICLY passing on you deep you can run Quarters Cover 3 Man and it should do well against a deep pass only.
When they have a threat of both but still heavy pass I will run a 5-2 cover 4 (your 2 DEs drop into coverage) and will play my DBs deep by pushing Y and Up on Right thumb stick before snap.
When we started our dynasty we did 1 star teams as well. That kid from Wazzu is one of a kind. You won't face many like him.

I would stay away from cover 3 zones if he's going deep. Try some man with a safety on top also bring pressure don't give the long routes time to develop. Make sure you aren't in a package where lbs are covering wrs. May also want to set your coverage to conservative see if that helps

In our first game I got hammered deep on sideline routes. Like I said, even against the CPU WR's are getting huge separation on me. He didn't have much of a running game, but it may have just been because he didn't need it. His qb ran on me some..

Run a Dime 3-2-5 2 Man Under
Switch the blitzing LB to Spy
Impossible to beat. Manually control a safety.

3-3-5 okie - lightning...
Press him hard, then sending those 7 will have him either sacked or throwing a deep ball way too early which leads to a pick... It's not an exact science but it works a majority of the time
And frick you GatorReb and your Leon Sandcastle

Mix up your playcalling. Play both man and zone, and throw in blitzes. Don't blitz too much though, control your DE or DT and practice on getting pressure with them. The key to stopping a good passing game is pressuring the QB with your DE or DT.
If he constantly going deep, you will have to blitz him.
If he is using medium, quick passes, hold off on blitzing and play more man and cover 2.

Press. Press. Press. Man coverage. 2 Man Under. Kill his o line and force him to throw on the run.

"X" then push the right control stick to the right. I think that's it. Once you press "X" all the defensive hot routes will come up and its on there somewhere

I would eat that alive with underneath crossing routes

If you have shitty corners going against good WRs, the last thing you want to do is press
