Obviously all of that matters. The question is what is more important, natural talent or coaching and developement? I think talent is far and away the #1 factor. I think top coaches like Les Miles and Nick Saban do as well. Now the big schools are the ones that get the best talent, in part for the reasons you listed above. So they go together, but the top programs like LSU recruit the best talent, because the coaches know they need the best players to win. An old quote goes X's and O's don't matter if my X's are better than your O's.

Guys that go high from smaller programs like Fisher usually are guys that fall thru the cracks or become late bloomers, something like that. But it does show that talent comes thru, even at lesser or losing programs.

What does that matter? They can point to several guys in the NFL. So they don't have the most, it's not a contest. LSU wasn't a "factory" when our current run started, but we still sent guys to the league. Here I guess is the crux of our disagreement. I'd argue we have more guys in the NFL now than 10 years ago, because we've been recruiting better talent and having better coaching is why we've been able to attract better talent, if that makes sense.
