I would think a great boudin/specialty meat store would kill it in New Orleans. Does anyone know of failed attempts?

1- not good

Ronnie's and Bergeron's (smoked) are both good. I'm not a fan of Jerry Lee's.

They are the only good east of Atchafalaya options I've found.
