re: Help me choose a topic regarding marshes for a presentation

They've recruited:

1 "scientist" from an unrelated field to go up against literally the worldwide scientific community's opinion, not to mention the laws of hydrodynamics. Oh did I mention this scientist has nothing more than a power point presentation as his background in the field? A guy with No published papers on the topic vs thousands of published works going against him.

2 parish presidents from 2 of the historically most corrupt parishes, one of whom is under current federal investigation and also seconded the unanimous motion of the CPRA board to approve the master plan. Neither has the slightest scientific background.

1 parish coastal zone manager (PJ Hahn), who lives in Kenner and who's qualifications in the coastal realm/work experience include being a policeman and boxing promoter. (Also no scientific background to speak of).

1 owner of the a website that is amazingly more juvenile than the worst boards of reddit or 4chan (Also no scientific background to speak of).

Multiple captains who apparently just got the Internet since they missed the hundreds of community outreach events held on the master plan over s period of years and who can't show you a tax return from the last 3 decades +. These captains also believe themselves to be dredging experts, geology experts, hydrology experts, and biologists who all reject the laws of physics and the laws of money/cost of goods and services. (...you guessed it...no scientific background to speak of).
