I guess the question is do you prefer to be a 6 point favorite over the number 15 to 17 ranked football team in America....or do you prefer to be a 22 point favorite over an unranked team?
According to 3 different early pre-season polls, TCU is ranked anywhere from number 15 to number 17.
Although Virginia Tech has historically been a top 25 team, the Hokies are not ranked in any pre-season poll.

Its in Texas, they are the only team to play more freshman than us last year, our star RB is probably going to miss at least that game, and we lost 8 contributing defensive players.
TCU is also very well coached and a defensive team.
It is where I thought it would be, but I think we cover.

It's because you have no offense. You might lose this game too, considering TCU has the game circled twice with exclamation marks.
