re: Tulane Stadium Experience

We used to park at a friend's house on Willow but getting there on narrow, congested streets was always a challenge. There were some lots on Claiborne but not many. I was there in '73 for LSU/Tulane and my grandfather was on the Saints medical staff under JD Roberts so we had season tickets. Missed the Lions game, unfortunately. I played football on that awful rug in high school. You always had to be aware of the tears in the turf otherwise you could suffer a nasty spill.
