Also funny how different reactions are in soccer when a club builds a superteam vs say the NBA for example.

I don't really follow the NBA enough to notice?

Dortmund / Bundesliga
Of course there's always going to be players that come and go from every club for various reasons. However, being one of the three?? biggest clubs in the Bundesliga and with their fan support etc. . . it does seem that they should be able to keep more talent instead of seeing all the top players leave as soon as they're close to reaching their peaks.

It's a little different in this situation...
Lebron was the best player in the world going to a very good team, joined by a veteran talent (Wade) and a complimentary player (Bosh). Should also be noted they make up 60% of what's on the floor, not less than 10%.
Götze is a fantastic young talent, but not the best player in the world, IMO (though he was on a ton of radars this spring) going to one of the best teams in the world.
If I had to compare the move, RVP's move to the Reds is more like Lebron's, while Götze's move is more like Nash going to the Lakers (though I hope it turns out better than that!)
Nevertheless....I think it's nearly impossible to compare since the two sports are so different...good topic though...
ETA: spelling
ETA2: Nash is older, so maybe not the perfect comparison..open to other suggestions.
