Winning cures all. And the ACC has a very nice region for stability and growth opportunities. I think reasonable people would say the long term viability of the ACC is atleast better than the BIG12.

winning more in football may help the ACC's perception among fans and TV people, but it won't really translate into more TV revenue. Deals should grow over time, but will regardless of on field FB success. It's expansion that increases the TV money, that's why the SEC and B1G have expanded.

I agree it's a good stable, growing area, hence the interest from the B1G and SEC. Would have made sense for the ACC to explore the superconfernce idea and try to add someone like Texas. That would help their TV revenue more than having ND as a quasi member.
