I thought this at first as well. Then I started thinking and read the police report and everything documented from the scene reinforces the story from the defendent and his wife. But that is what trials are for. I'll be keeping close taps on the procedings. They are currently in the first day of trial today. I have no idea as to how long it could take.

Not having much experience with trials by first day does that mean they're hearing testimony and stuff from witnesses or picking jurors?
