Dude is a legit game changer. He's NFL ready, doesn't have any glaring weaknesses in his game. Explosive player who can wreck havoc. This workout seals the deal for me. He's my guy.

It makes me feel even better when I hear guys like Doug Farrar, Greg Cosell, and Matt Miller speak so highly of him; let me know I'm not crazy. I've been obsesses with us drafting him since if first saw him.

Quote:
Joe Reedy of the Cincinnati Enquirer reports that Carradine ran a 4.75-second 40-yard dash at a workout for NFL scouts today. That’s a good time for a defensive end in any context, but it’s particularly good for a player who had reconstructive knee surgery 135 days ago.
Quote:
According to Reedy, Carradine was “very happy” with the results of his workout. Scouts from 11 teams attended Carradine’s workout: the Chiefs, Lions, Browns, Saints, Bengals, Vikings, Colts, Broncos, Patriots, Falcons and 49ers.

Now, in an era when ACL injuries are not the career-killers they once were (just ask Adrian Peterson about that), the question is what Carradine will be able to show before the draft. If he's anywhere near 100 percent before then, he will easily vault up a full round in our rankings, and I could see him taken in the first half of the first round with no problem.

All that stuff did show up on tape. If it does again, Tank Carradine has the potential to be an unholy terror in the NFL.

NFL Comparison: Aldon Smith, San Francisco 49ers (if healthy).

Florida State DE Tank Carradine (ACL surgery) ran a 4.75 forty at his Pro Day workout Saturday.

Carradine is just 135 days removed from reconstructive right knee surgery, so the forty time at 6-foot-4, 276 is quite impressive. It's as if he's fully recovered. Carradine can run full speed in a straight line, though he's not yet making cuts at full tilt, which is understandable. With a relentless motor and off-the-ball explosion on game tape, Carradine is a sleeper for the top-20 picks.

@nfldraftscout thoughts of Werner or Carradine as 3-4 OLB's?
— Evan Sidery (@ESidery) April 9, 2013
@esidery Don't like Werner there, love Carradine at OLB. Werner isn't quick enough off the ball. Can't bend the edge.

My ranking of Tank Carradine (DE-FSU) may surprise people, but once healthy I see a dominant pass rusher. He's top 5 for me.

Could make a late surge up draft boards RT @mortreport: Carradine, 135 days post-ACL surgery...had good workout: 4.75-4.85 in 40 at 273 lbs

Wasn't the only knock on him an injury? I've seen him projected as a top 20 pick in previous mocks.

It's not a stretch or going on a limb to say he's a stud or first round worthy

This is off topic but it doesn't bother anyone else that the OP takes threads word for word straight from SaintsReport and posts it as his own? This is the third one I've seen this week.

Falcons are very interested in him...heard rumors of trading up to get him if it looks like he won't fall to 30
