Are they all supposed to be great? Thats like saying Joe McKinght would have sucked since countless Curtis players did nothing. IMO you are taking the wrong approach. Each player is different. PJ will be a good one.

pretty much the case with all HS commits ...
he's got good size (6'4, 280)... doesn't look to carry much extra weight/baby fat ... moves well, stays on his feet, & gets to 2nd level consistently (his 40 is listed as 4.78)... pretty dominating run blocker ...
should fit in nicely at OG

He's also only 16 years old right now. He started as a sophomore and has gotten much better each year. He's got a great work ethic, and he is very football smart.

i'm referring specifically to the big 3 catholic schools in NOLA
for how much we hear about them, they have produced very little major division one talent in the last 5-7 years
RB at UCLA, OG at Michigan, and Steltz are only ones coming to mind

St.Aug produces more football talent than the big 3.

Just watched the videos, looks to great pickup by Miles.

In all honesty the Catholic League doesnt produce much talent in the college level. the river parishes produce a hell of alot of skill players while north La is loaded with linemen. now will Lonergan be another Wibel? We will just have to wait and see.

Saban was a terrible evaluator of OL, IMO. Miles knows what he's doing, and if you had watched the videos you wouldn't have tried to compare him to Wibel.

my only comparison is both coming out of rummel. if i do remember correctly, Wibel was in the top 5 the year he came out.

What's funny is this on that list...
29 D'Brickashaw Ferguson
Freeport (NY) OL 6-5/250 Virginia
30 Doug Planchard
Baton Rouge (LA) Catholic OL 6-3/275 LSU

Goes to show you how tough it is to evaluate OL coming out of high school.
