They start around 100. I'm getting a 7' MH to pair with my calcutta. It's gonna be purple and gold with my name on it. Pretty simple.

Not at all hard. There is a bit of a learning curve but it isn't bad. My first isn't pretty but works really well.

Wonder if anyone is selling them on clearance. Mind is a great wot rod. Wouldn't mind a few more.

The place that I bought all my stuff from was bought by Mud hole custom rods. They have a really good site.
Cabelas and bass pro have stuff as well.
There wasn't much Internet when I was learning. I had this book:

Not really sure. 50+ I'm guessing. I have probably 25-30 or so in fly rods, casting and spinning and made a bunch for friends.

i broke one when i fell on it when in a canoe. no rod would've stood a chance. besides that they've been fine for me so far
