Lets assume Coach Cam does great work with ZM and he has a 3500 yard 25 TD 5 INT season. Does that get ZM into the top half of the 1st round?

Its possible. He has all the physical tools. Depends on who will need a QB.

Not a first round QB unless he completely transforms.

Has potential to be a good NFL QB and have a decent career.

I hope he has a Jamarcus Russell junior season type year.

I think it's safe to say if he throws for 3500 yards and 25 TDs to only 5 picks he has undergone a "complete transformation"

He could be a first round guy, but we will just have to wait and see.

I'd say more of a 2nd or a 3rd at this point though.

I could care less where he gets drafted as long as we win the BCSNC

This.

Also, you have to look at the other QB's that will be coming out next year. In the SEC alone you have JFF,Murray & Maccarron.

Depends. Can he complete a pass over 20 yards?

If they watch film and see him overthrow everything downfield by 5 yards that won't bode well for him

If he has those stats he'll be a top 10 pick.

Andrew Luck's senior year he had 3517 yds 37TDs and 10 Ints

With that being said, it would be a miracle if Mett put up those numbers

He'll need to improve that tenfold if his awareness continues to be nil

I hope he can do it. If he can first off LSU will win alot of games. Also if you think about it he really can make this transformation. Consider how many deep touchdown throws he missed last year. That's alot of yards and TD's on the table. Plus his footwork improvement under CC will improve his mobility and accuracy.

Big arm and ok accuracy LSU recievers made him look bad dropping balls at times but he has terrible pocket presence if he can work on that and have a good year he will probably go 2nd-4th round IMO.

I don't see him surpassing Tahj Boyd,Manziel,Murray or Maccarron in his draft stock.

Landry also made him look good with some of his overthrows early in the season.

Also, the idea that ZM is going to throw 25+ TDs is a bit far fetched. Some of you need to come back down to reality.

I'd say with more pocket awareness and atleast a little bit more mobility and he could go 2nd round. Of course that's with the stats you stated.

Well that's really going out on a limb.
