Lack of defense and rebounding were going to cost Michigan at some point.
I dont even think that is what cost them the game. If they make free throws its a totally different ball game. I know they only missed 7 all together, but most of those were late. If GRIII, Burke and THJr make a couple of late FTs its a tighter ball game.

Of course, the officiating was terrible. But, that seems to always be the case in any sport.
2 specific was the Hancock jumping to the side and still not getting hit 3 FT's against Burke. man that was a horrible call.
Then the block by Burke on Silva which was a HUGE call at that stage of the game, especially from a momentum standpoint.
Still in the end, Mich just made some mental lapse late 2nd half that cost them not to mention missing some key FT's. Also,Lou simply out "wanted" it late down low.
Still a great game. Hancock was huge, but the MVP for Lou in that game was Siva. He totally controlled the 2nd half. Then again, without those 4 straight 3's Mich probably runs away with it.
