True. Plus usually if your team good=good attendance, Team bad=bad attendance.

Usually the STL Cards avgs 36,000-40,000/game.
Royals 17,000-20,000/game. Both teams in the same state. One team is good, another is bad.

Royals attendance will be higher this year, team should be better.

I'll also add I doubt if people want to fight traffic for midweek games when you can watch at home. Hell I get to watch both the Cards and Royals on TV.

well there's that and there's also that there is a real love of baseball in the culture of Saint Louis. It is one of the places in the country where baseball is a clear #1 sport.
