". She obviously has a long way to go and given where she's been thus far I think it served it's purpose in reminding us that she is in fact just a little girl. "

So you don't think speculating as to Arya's development is at all influenced by what you've read about Arya in the books?

It's very obvious you shouldn't be speaking about the future of anything since you have a perspective a show watcher doesn't.

What development? You are toeing the spoiler line by even saying anything.

BTW, I have no knowledge of what Arya becomes or doesn't.

bullshite, this is the same speculation done by non-readers. Again, trying too hard to find fault. If she posted that exact same thing under an alter, no one would say shite.

Not at all. The comment about a long way to go is in terms of her sword skills. Can you not figure that out by what we saw? That's not a comment about her future development at all. That's your poor reading comprehension skills.

Ummm, no. I think her comment has a lot more to do with having some sword skills, watching her father being beheaded, being whisked away and traveling with the night's watch, watching some of them die, being held captive by Tywin Lannister at Harrenhal, etc. She's saying her getting the sword knocked out of her hand is there to remind us that even though she's been through a lifetime of misery and seems tough, she is still a child. Nothing gives away anything in the future. All of these things happened in the show and something most show watchers would pick up on.
