Yep, you take him out of the pen we currently do not have a reliable closer...plus in a close game which eventually will come, you know coach might turn to him for extended innings. His ability to pitch in 2 or 3 weekend games is much bigger for us than just starting 1. I am still very skeptical too about how good his stuff would be to guys the 2nd or 3rd time around the order. He usually comes in after guys who are throwing 90-94ish then he locates three pitches for strikes with a fastball that sits mid 80s and feels like a changeup to the hitters.
