also, we ain't winnin a title next year. i almost made that thread yesterday

ok so we have an improved team but shitty center play for a year. we will NEVER have another offseason to sign an option at the 5

I kind of think Evans is a long play on moving Gordon which is going to lather up the masses while it works itself out. Maybe he works out at SF but he's better suited to replace Gordon once Gordon's value increases. You can keep Gordon's minutes down and efficiency up without looking suspicious and you also make it to where Gordon seems like a luxury to you and you want to trade him rather than you have to trade him. I just can't believe Demps' long term plan is to have a $40 million backcourt.

Yeah, when you have so many holes to fill, like the Pelicans did this offseason, it takes more than one move and usually more than one offseason to get the talent where you want it.

But the talent on this team is definitely improving.

we could still keep Lopez and pay some luxury tax $ correct? Lopez at $5mil just seems like a good bargain for a serviceable C.
