Pretty sure nobody has mentioned this in 10 pages but JJ over JL and no JL in the NC game.

His game plan at his last NCG appearance.

I think Lee was ineligible for NC game.

2008 season, Lee craters, JJ beats him out as a true freshman and takes over. Doesn't do much better but does play a good bowl game.
2009 spring and fall camp, the consensus of the ENTIRE coaching staff is that JJ gives LSU the best chance to win games with. (the general consensus of the staff also is that JJ is not great, simply the lesser of two evils).
2010 after spring and fall camps, once again the consensus is that JJ is better.
2011 spring and fall practice proves to the staff once again that JJ is better. Then the bar incident and JL gets his chance and performs well, exceeding the expectations of his coaches. BUT! The coaches have been around and watched JL in all practices and games for 5 years and the only thing they are confident of is he is a limited talent that tends to fold against elite competition.
Coaches make personel mistakes all the time, over or under estimating a players potential to perform in games. Perhaps they made a mistake midway of 2011 by reinstating JJ over JL. But if it was truly a mistake, it was one that was made by the consensus of a group of men that coach football for a living reacting to what they had seen of the two QB's over the course of 5 YEARS! Say what you will, but if this was truly a "mistake" then it was certainly a reasonable one.
Tiger Voodoo, I want to commend you on your posts earlier in this thread, IMO they were right on the money!

Not exactly true. Lee got hurt and JJ had to take over. But you are correct that he did have a great bowl game against GA Tech.
Also, Biggest Mystery, What color panties Kathy Miles is wearing . J/K. But seriously that's the only real mystery to me is how he lacks the want for a hot wife. Other than that I'm glad we have Les and I hope he stays for a long time.

is saying that Les had no confidence in Lee
Anyone having confidence in Lee against Alabama is a fool.
How this can still be debated after Lee's four year QB rating of 65 with 1 TD and 7 ints against Alabama only shows the retard level of the Lee sunshine pumpers.

Lee might have been the lessor of two evils, but by his senior season he was a pretty good QB, as was Jefferson. Difference was that Jefferson gave us a better chance against the more elite defenses in the SEC. Lee tended to completely fall apart under pressure, not that Jefferson was great at handling pressure, just that he was better at it. Both had their deficiecies, but to say they were terrible QB 's just isn't true. But it is hardly a mystery as to why Miles stuck with Jefferson in the bigger games.

probably was doable back when they were in college. Have to remember Miles was an O-lineman. Not gonna pull in the top grade ho that the other positions are going to pull in. Plus he is loyal, so not going to dump her now that he is rich and famous, even though he easily could trade her in for a much younger finer bitch. Proof Miles is a man of high integrity and character.

1-9 is and will always be a mystery.
We never even attempted to do something different.
Once again I'm convinced JL wasn't eligible.

You have to hope so, right?
Otherwise the alternative is your coach has diarrhea in his head.

What's the over/under on pages on this thread? I'm guessing 20

rewatch the game. We attempted a lot of different things in that game on offense. Bama was just beating the snot out of us. They just gave us a physical beat down.

What leads you to believe that? If he wasn't eligible he wouldn't have been dressed out. Didn't he even get in for a couple of plays at the end of the Georgia SEC championship game?

no, Miles doesn't have diarrhea in his head, it's just a portion of the fan base that seems to suffer from it.

They call Les the mad hatter. Sometimes in big games I think he is just mad. It is like he goes some where after the kick off & at the end ask the other coaches if we won? However u got to admit he has a great record.
