I don't think he's in the right mindset to complete the comeback.
He said he's not even willing to look at playing in any league but the NFL, even just to tune up his game before the NFL season. If I was a team, this would throw up a huge red flag for me. He doesn't seem to have that drive and passion for the game, he wants the money and/or to not be known as such an epic failure for the rest of his life. It's nothing personal against the guy, it's just who he is.
He literally robbed the raiders of 30 million dollars and didnt hold up his end of the contract. He hasn't even apologized for that yet.
The tools have always been there, it's between the ears where his problems come in.

Exactly. He could get in great physical shape, but that says nothing about his mental toughness or his ability to understand what it takes to play QB effectively in the NFL. Yea, he's got a good arm, but that's not what an NFL QB is all about. And based on his utter and complete failure with the Raiders a few years ago, I don't have much faith that he has what it takes (between the ears and in the chest).
