Call the title company as it is there responsibility to sort this out. I do about one of this a week and rarely is money still owed. if you went to court the DA will cancel the bond forfeiture, but again the title company will usually handle this on your behalf.

If the bonding company paid the full bond to the city, parish, or whatever municipality it was, then the DA can't do crap. It is a debt owed to the bonding company. In your example, the bond company hasn't paid the full amount of the bond. The OP needs to check to see if he went to court in time and if the bond has been paid by the bonding company.
