I think my Kahr CM9 is the easiest subcompact single stack 9 to shoot that I've found. I've also shot a keltec PF9 and an m&p shield. The Kahr still has the least harsh recoil impulse.

I am always looking for nice used pistols and the Kahr CM9 is at the top of my list.
