ETA: I'll never forget receiving a box set of about 100 casette tapes of concerts from a Deadhead on a Grateful Dead Forum. He paid shipping and everything, I was 17 at the time.

Probably wasn't the best idea to give out my address on the internet, but it worked out just fine. I played them for days and days, my basement probably looked like a kid in the 70's floor with records, but for me it was tapes.

that 72 box set is a beast to get through. so much incredible music. lately ive been listening to dave's picks 6, the new one. pigpen kills it.

On pretty much every site it would be dumb to give out your real life info, but you were obviously among good people. My favorite kind of people are deadheads. If I meet someone who listens to the Grateful Dead I instantly know we're gonna be buds.
