It's on Gonzalez. Easy play booted and the rest was history. Alou making that catch was a non-routine play. Gonzalez's error was on a routine play.

I agree with all of that, but when i'm playing "what if" i always wonder if prior hadn't thrown 112 pitches in a blow out in game 2 and what if dusty had simply gone otu there after alou's fit and said "tell me about the hottest woman you fricked at southern cal."
Likley alex still boots a tailor made double play, but i'd rather direct my hate towards dusty baker.

and how can you say we pay way too much. He's 23, locked in until 2020, and is making about $7mil per year.
Elvis Andrus just signed an 8year extension that will pay him double that.
